Barriers to Reducing Crime Lab

We examine reduction of crime, reentry barriers, translation of research to policy and practice, implementation of evidence-based practices, & assessment and rehabilitation in corrections through merging the Risk-Need-Responsivity Model with the socioecological framework to capture populations & factors nested at the individual, interpersonal, community, organizational, and policy levels.

Requirements for undergraduate research assistants:
(1) Minimum GPA of 3.0, (2) Be able to commit at least 2 semesters to the lab, and (3) PSYC 211 or an equivalent Research Methods & Statistics course (or equivalent applied experience)
